As Antiacid: For the quick relief of heartburn, poor digestion and other gastric disturbances. As a Laxative: For the gentle and quick relief of occasional constipation
Usage Warning:  Do not take any laxative if you have abdominal pain except on medical advice. The maximum recommended dose should not be taken for more than 2 weeks, except on recommendation and under medical supervision. If symptoms persist, see your doctor. Use with caution in patients with impaired kidney and heart function. Contraindications: Undiagnosed rectal bleeding, symptoms of possible appendicitis or intestinal obstruction. Adverse Reactions: Rarely abdominal pain (cramps). Interactions: Antacids and saline laxatives can interfere with the absorption of some prescription drugs. Precautions: Use with caution in patients on sodium-restricted diets. Do not take another medicine within 2 hours.
